How PlaySpec Works
PlaySpec separates hardware capability from retailer pricing so a sale price cannot magically make a weak PC become a strong one.
1. Build your play target
Your selected systems, specific games, resolution and PC-performance goal become a minimum capability target.
2. Eliminate unsafe matches
A product must clear every required capability threshold. Unknown or ambiguous hardware is kept out until it is reviewed.
3. Rank the survivors by delivered price
Only after capability is satisfied do item price and listed shipping determine the cheapest sensible option.
4. Show the tradeoffs
PlaySpec also shows a best-value option, the first worthwhile step-up, what else the hardware can handle and whether a more expensive machine is genuine headroom or just overkill.
