How We Rank Hardware
Affiliate commission never changes recommendation order. Capability comes first. Delivered price comes second.
Capability gate
Products are graded separately for emulation class, rendering/upscaling headroom and PC-gaming class. A machine that misses any selected requirement does not qualify, even if it is cheaper or pays a better commission.
Price ranking
Among products that pass the capability gate and your form-factor/condition preferences, PlaySpec ranks available offers by delivered price: listed item price plus listed shipping.
Confidence matters
Hardware can be labeled verified, strong, conditional or provisional. Demanding emulator classes remain title-dependent, especially PS3-class workloads.
No pay-to-rank
Retailers and affiliate networks cannot purchase a higher recommendation position. Commission rate is deliberately absent from the ranking formula.
